This Privacy Policy describes how and when Biggerpan collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our Services (“Usage Information”). Biggerpan receives your Usage Information mainly through your interactions with our Services, which include the API/SDK demo on this website (the “Demo”), and the Ulli web browser on iOS, collectively referred to as the “Software”. Some of Biggerpan products may have their own privacy policy, like the Smart Messages mobile messaging app for Android, whose privacy policy is accessible on https://smartmessages.app/privacy-policy/. Unless having their own privacy policy set forth, when using any of our Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage and other uses of this information as described in this Privacy Policy. Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from, you authorize Biggerpan to anonymously use this information in the United States, in France and in any other country where Biggerpan operates.
1. Information Collection and Use
Contact Information
We may use the contact information you provide us to send you information about our Services, respond to your requests and facilitate your use of the Services. This information will be stored indefinitely by Biggerpan and you may contact us to have it removed from our information systems.
Account
If and when you create an account with Biggerpan, you must provide access credentials in the form of an email address and password. This personal information may not be stored in association with any other personal information and may only be used for access management and communication purposes.
Links
We may keep track of some links you click on in our Software in order to improve the relevance of the links we provide or to be able to share aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on. This information is part of the Usage Information we collect anonymously and it is not stored in our systems when you use the incognito mode of Ulli or when accessing our Services through any browser effectively protecting your browsing data with an equivalent feature. When transferred to our cloud computing infrastructure, this information is stripped out of the properties that would allow us to associate it with your identity. This information may be stored locally on your device in association with other personal information.
Browsing History
Ulli has access to your browsing history from which it may collect relevant links from your past sessions in order to constitute data sets for machine learning. This information is part of the Usage Information that we collect anonymously to improve our Services. When transferred to our cloud computing infrastructure, this information is stripped out of the properties that would allow us to associate it with your identity and pooled with similar Usage Information. Our Software may also store your last requests to search engines on your device in order to offer you a service to keep track of the latest searches you made. This information is private and local to your browsing device and will not be transmitted to our servers nor to any third-party entity.
Identifiers and cookies
We set up and store information in the Software in order to keep your session and settings up to date while you are connected to our Services. These information may be stored in the local storage of your device and in the form of cookies.
Log Data
Our servers automatically record information (“Log Data”) generated upon your connection to the Services. Log Data may include information such as your IP address, user ID, cookie information, browser type, operating system, device model, location, carrier and internet service provider. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, for example, when you visit our websites, sign into or interact with our Software, or interact with our email notifications. Biggerpan uses Log Data to provide access to some of our Services and to measure, customize, and improve them. Log Data from Ulli may not be stored on our servers in association with Usage Information under any circumstance. Log Data from the Demo, and in particular the messages entered to test predictions, may be stored on our servers to improve our Services.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use a variety of third-party services to help provide our Services, such as hosting services, and to help us understand the use of our Services, such as Google Analytics. These third-party service providers may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP address. The Company is also a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
2. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Personal Information
No personal information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent in mobile apps or websites; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Law and Harm
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Policy, we may preserve or disclose the information we collected, including Log Data and Usage Information, if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to address security or technical issues; or to protect Biggerpan’s rights or property. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defenses or objections that you may have to a third-party’s, including a government’s, request to disclose your information.
Business Transfers
In the event that Biggerpan is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your personal information may not be sold or transferred as part of that transaction, while the Log Data and Usage Information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The promises in this Privacy Policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.
3. Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a change to this Policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, and if you have an account with our Services, we will notify you via an email to the email address associated with your account or through the Services. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
